You may be thinking...” But Lailaa... it’s only July...” However, it’s never too early to start planning. As you may know, year-end duties can be an extreme undertaking if you’re not proactive. That’s why we’re introducing a 3-part blog series called “Payroll Prep: Beyond the Halfway Mark.”

This series aims to help UKG Ready customers prepare for year-end by providing insight and resources. It will cover key components of year-end success, such as auditing payroll configurations, balancing employee wages, and the Year-End Forms process and deadlines. We’ll present this information in three blog posts, which will be available bi-weekly on the Working Smarter Café site.

Our first installment published on July 15 and provides essential tips on auditing your payroll configuration and validating reports to make sure everything is in its proper place. Most of you are familiar with several different “boxes” that are part of the Forms W-2, and we want to make sure you know how to confirm all your earnings and benefits are reported in the proper box. I’m sure you know how much of a hassle it can be if not configured correctly. We’re here to help provide you with the necessary tools to ensure your year-end is as smooth as can be and minimize the need for W-2Cs! In our second installment, we’ll provide guidance on how to balance employee wages to prepare for W-2s and then our third installment will review the year-end forms process and key deadlines you may want to take note of.

Be sure you don't miss the upcoming "Payroll Prep: Beyond the Halfway Mark" blog series. More details can be found in the episode show notes.  Thank you so much for listening!
